I have two teenage daughters Lois and Rosie, who attend Tollbar Academy, and I am a parishioner at Corpus Christi Church Cleethorpes. As well as being a busy teacher and mum I also enjoy ship visiting as a volunteer with the Apostleship of the Sea.
Mrs A Purdon
I am a newly-appointed Foundation Governor at St Mary’s Catholic Voluntary Academy as from September 2015. I will be joining the Curriculum & Standards Committee.
I am retired, having worked in administration throughout my working life. My hobbies are all involved with music and I am a volunteer with the Alzheimer's Society.
I have been a parishioner at St Mary's Church for over twenty years and since my retirement have become more involved in the Church. I help with the Children's Liturgy on Sunday mornings and play the organ regularly for Mass.
Mrs L Jordan
My name is Lorraine Jordan and I am a newly appointed foundation governor. I currently work as a Specialist Nurse in Occupational Health. My link with St Marys Academy comes from being a parishioner at St Marys Church where I was received 3 years ago as a new Catholic along with my Husband. I am actively involved within the Church and serve on the Parish Council and as part of my Parish life I was keen to be involved in the education and welfare of the children at the Catholic school. I have recently taken on the role of PE Governor and pupil discipline. I have also just completed the 4 part training programme "The Effective School Governor". I live in Grimsby with my husband, our rather boisterous 8 month old Spinone puppy called Dillan and Izzy our house bunnie.
