Art

Today,30/04/18, the children in year 3 have started to make their new art project – a volcano. The children used empty bottles and attached them to their cardboard bases. They then covered and moulded their volcanoes looking at size and height. The children had to work together in order to ensure their volcanoes were secure; many hands make light work!

Recorders

At the last music lesson Y3 children practiced before their recorder concert in July.  Mrs Booth was very impressed with the progress of all the children.

Art

Today the 2nd of July, the children in year 3 have moved onto painting their long boats and sails as part of their Viking Art project. They are creating a 3d picture of the sea and sky; they have been using different stages to layer on layer to create a wonderful 3D effect. How creative.
