As part of our challenge to ‘give more’, we plan to take part in a number of fun events to raise money for CAFOD. The theme this year is to turn small fish into big fish and our money will go towards setting up fish farms in Zambia to enable farmers to make sure there is food on the table and to send their children to school.

Our ‘wear it funny for money’ days were so well supported last year, we plan to run them again each Friday during Lent.   It was great to see the children coming to school dressed in a variety of interesting and creative ways to raise money

The ‘Wear it funny for money’ days will be:

Friday 3rd March   Wear your face funny

Friday 10th March       Wear your shoes funny

Friday 17th March       Wear your clothes funny

Friday 24th March       Wear your hair funny

Friday 31st March   Easter Egg competition

During the last week of term, we will be collecting any spare change you have in your pockets, laying around the house or down the sides of armchairs. There will be a donation box in reception and children may bring any loose change into class. The challenge is to be able to use all the pennies to make a large fish on the floor of the school hall on the last day of term.   We thank you for your generosity.
