Jorvik Viking Centre

On Wednesday 13th  June, Year 4 went on a fantastic trip to the Jorvik Viking Centre in York. The children first went to DIG archaeological adventure and became archaeologists trying to uncover remains and solve the mystery of what it could be. Next, we met a Viking warrior named Sigrid who taught us all about Viking battle tactics and how to be a successful member of the Viking army. After lunch, we made our way to the Jorvik Centre to on an interactive ride being transported back to the Viking Age. Both adults and children had an amazing day which most definitely sparked a huge buzz of excitement for their new topic. A super, fun day!
